The Adult FAST Torso phantom is for ultrasound imaging, with a primary focus on the FAST (Focused Assessment with Sonography in Trauma) protocol. This highly realistic phantom replicates the intricacies of the adult torso, providing practitioners with a tool for refining their diagnostic skills. Specifically tailored to replicate trauma scenarios, it offers practitioners a lifelike environment to master the FAST protocol by identifying its various pathologies.Â
The phantom is comprised of 3D-printed bones. It also includes organs made from ultrasound-compatible tissue-mimicking material. Pathologies included in this phantom make it a great tool for FAST training.

*/All standard phantoms are coated with a protective layer of the harder urethane rubber to offer enhanced appearance and safeguard the phantom from any scratches when handled without care. This coated layer also provides a glossy finish and slightly changes the hardness of the phantom. The Hardness [Shore 00] for the ‘Body Tissue’ mentioned above is measured without the coat layer. The coat will increase the hardness by approximately 30 points meaning that if the body tissue hardness is OO 35, the coated body tissue will be OO 65./*
